Drought Meetings

The University of Missouri extension addresses the continuing drought issues that agriculture producers currently face.

Even though northwest Missouri is now starting to see more chance of rain, this summer's drought continues to affect farmers. University of Missouri Extension agriculture specialists will offer "Dealing with Drought" meetings to inform local agriculture producers on how to deal with the drought issues most are facing. Regional Agronomist Amie Schleicher says the series addresses those issues

The meetings take place from 10am until 3pm on Thursday, November 8th at the Nodaway County Administration Center in Maryville; Monday, November 12th at the Missouri Department of Conservation regional building in St. Joseph; And Wednesday, November 14th at the Rafter C arena in Chillicothe.
