The Missouri Corn Merchandising Council and the Missouri Corn Growers Association are starting the new fiscal year with new leadership.

The election of the 2012-2013 MCMC officer team was in August. Northwest Missouri is well represented on the two boards. Among the elected on the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council are Morris Heitman of Mound City as Vice Chair and Gary Porter of Mercer as Treasurer. M-C-G-A officers for 2012-2013 were also elected in August and include Kevin Hurst of Tarkio as Vice President. The new officers assumed their new roles on Monday.
