As the fall season approaches, credit card companies typically begin approaching college students.
Even though most college students lack a steady income, credit card companies have learned that parents will often foot the bill. Rebecca Travnichek is a Family Financial Education Specialist for the University of Missouri Extension office in Savannah. She says parents should take the time to teach their kids the importance of controlling spending.
