Director of Finance for the city of Maryville Denise Town has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

The award was given by the Government Financial Officers Association. City Manager Greg McDanel says Town received the award for showing many positive characteristics and efficiencies.

This is the fourth consecutive year the City of Maryville has won this award.
