Bearcat football team is coming off an impressive victory

MARYVILLE, MO (2012-10-29)

The Northwest Missouri State football team is coming off an impressive victory of Washburn Saturday defeating the Ichabods 56-6 in Topeka.

The Bearcat defense picked off 6 Washburn passes in helping Northwest to the win. Bearcat head football coach Adam Dorrel says the play of his secondary was important on Saturday.

The Bearcats return home Saturday for a homecoming match up with Emporia State.
