A Barnard resident suffers serious injuries from a one vehicle accident at 9:30 last night on US-71 one half a mile south of Savannah.

58 year old, Jeffery Mcginnes was traveling north on US-71 when he was attempting to change lanes crossing uneven pavement. That caused his motorcycle to lose control and travel off the right side of the road. He was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center. Mcginnes was wearing a helmet.
