NW St. Joseph Moving

Wayman

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2011-10-24)

The St. Joseph campus of Northwest Missouri State University is moving.

Officials this morning unveiled plans for the new St. Joseph Center at the Historic Green Acres Building, the former infirmary built in 1919 near the shoppes of North Village on St. Joseph's north side. The university will move into about 5,000 square feet on the building on the south side of the complex. Director of the St. Joseph Center Dr. Melody Messner says the location is perfect for students and staff coming down into St. Joseph on Interstate 29 and says the re-developed space configures well.

Northwest plans to move in by many first of next year.
