Crisis Classes

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2011-10-24)

A unique college major is forming at the university in Maryville.

The board of regents have approved the bachelor of science in comprehensive crisis response. Students in the major will focus on how to manage crises from different perspectives like political, health services, economic, and other lenses. Northwest provost Dr. Doug Dunham says the major meets a demand.

Pending approval from state education officials, Northwest's major in comprehensive crisis response could accept its first students next Fall.
