Boil Advisory

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2011-10-25)

Maryville residents need to boil their water both Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather pending, the city is re-connecting pipes in its main trunk line for water coming into the city, and is issuing a boil advisory starting at 7:30 tomorrow morning and ending Thursday at the earliest. Maryville Public works director C.E. Goodall says they will be testing the water through Thursday but until then all water needs to be boiled for 3 minutes.

Ice cubes made by ice makers tomorrow and Thursday should also be thrown out dishes can be immersed at least one minute in clean tap water that contains a teaspoon of unscented bleach per gallon of water. Stay tuned to 90.5 and 88.9 on Thursday, we will let you know when the boil order is lifted as soon as we get word.
