A company out of Kansas City is applying to the city of Maryville for support to begin phase two of their "Senior Housing Complex" in Maryville.

In 2007, MBL Development company completed their Senior Housing on Aurora Street, the villas at the summit. Kim Lingle, representative for MBL Development, says the first phase was very successful and they hope to begin phase two next Spring.

The land for phase one was purchased from the Community of Faith Church, and the company has entered into contract with the church to obtain the remaining 4 acres. The subdivision currently contains 38 units and a community building. The affordable housing units will include all appliances and is intended for citizens 55 years and older.
