NUELLE
CHILLICOTHE, MO (2011-10-07)
National Fire Prevention Week begins this Sunday and the Chillicothe Fire Department is promoting the event.
With the winter months approaching people should remember how important it is to prevent a fire in the home. Also remember it is good to have an escape plan with the family. In 2009, according to the National Fire Protection Agency a home structure fire occurred every 87 seconds across the US. Les Hennon is with the Chillicothe Fire Department and says it's a time for citizens to get involved as well.
