About 90 companies were in Maryville yesterday, looking to hire interns and employees.

It was the fall Career Day at Northwest Missouri State. Yvette Keister was one of the recruiters looking to fill positions and says the number of companies with openings is up.

Their were about 30 more companies at yesterday's career fair than at the same time last year.
