Governor's Award for Excellence

An assistant professor of computer science in Maryville has won the governor's award for excellence in education.

Dr. Carol Spradling has taught at Northwest Missouri State for nearly a quarter century and says she focuses customized teaching for her students.

Spradling is among 11 educators on the Maryville campus recently recognized for teaching, research, service and student support.
