An area school board is trying to improve testing scores in the district.

Carrollton R-7 Board members discussed at this weeks meeting the ACT report from last year and also received an update on the "High Schools That Work" program. THe "High Schools That Work" Program is designed to help improve academics. Superintendent Dr. Judith Delaney says the district has seen improvements in students and staff.

Delaney adds the school saw better ACT test scores but there is still room to improve.
