A busy intersection in Atchison Kansas will be without traffic signals for several weeks after an accident there.

The intersection at 10th and Main is now a four way stop after a contracting company truck struck the overhead crossbar of the signal last week. Atchison city manager Trey Cocking says another change for drivers is the flashing light at Highway 59 and 6th Street. He says the light will be flashing until the new Amelia Earhart Bridge construction is finished.

Construction on the Amelia Earhart Bridge is set to be finished next fall.
