Business in one county are feeling relief after the reopening of a major interstate.

Atchison county in northwest Missouri is positioned along the Missouri River and Interstate 29. This summers flooding caused Missouri and Iowa Department of Transportation officials to shut down portions of the interstate, forcing many local business to close. Now with the reopening, businesses have returned. Atchison County Development Corporation executive director Monica Bailey says the county is optimistic.
