A memorial walk in Maryville this weekend will raise awareness and education for asthma.

The Jennifer Shaw Suhr Memorial 5-K is named for the Northwest Alum who died of asthma 11 years ago, leaving behind a husband and 2 year old son. Jennifer's sister-in-law Julie Shaw says with the good weather and past participation, they are hoping for a good turnout.

Saturday morning's 9 O'clock Memorial 5-k Run/Walk starts with registration at 8 at the Raymond Courter College Park Pavilion on the Northwest campus in Maryville.
