MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-11) A major upgrade for Maryville water service has begun.

The city is building two new water towers and taking down an old one. Steel is now on sight at both locations one on the South edge of town and one of the university campus. Maryville City manager Matt LaCerf says once the two towers are built, the expanding Maryville population will be better served. Construction on both towers will be ongoing through the Winter, with the project complete and running next August.
