MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-26) The Maryville Public Library is showcasing an science exhibit this week.
"Visions of The Universe: Four Centuries of Discovery" is a six panel double sided exhibit that explains facts about the Hubbell telescope, talks about what takes place in outer space as well as celebrates the life and discoveries of Galileo. The exhibit travels throughout all 50 states and is sponsored by NASA, the Smithsonian, the Space Telescope Institute and the American Library Association. Maryville is only one of two cities in the state of Missouri to host the exhibit, the other being the Kansas City.
