ALBANY, MO (2010-10-05) A Northwest Missouri Hospital is embarking on the future using high technology for "Telemedicine".

Northwest Medical Center in Albany has started the practice of connecting patients with doctors hundreds of miles away. Northwest Medical Center CEO Jon Doolittle says it's becoming easier on the patient especially when needing to see specialists. Doolittle says since offering telemedicine this Summer, response has been favorable.
