NODAWAY COUNTY, MO (2010-10-29) Two Nodaway County residents are running to represent Missouri's 4th district in the state house.
Democrat challenger Robert Ritterbusch is calling for investments in infrastructure, K through 12 education reform, and implementing the federal health care bill. He says underlying all this is the need for more taxes to fund the proposals. Incumbent republican Mike Thomson has served as the 4th district state representative for the past 4 years, is focusing on education and employment, and chairs and serves on a number of house committees. Thosmson says he takes the term "Representative" to heart. The election will be decided on Tuesday.
