SAVANNAH, MO (2010-10-29) Teens in Andrews County will have an opportunity to learn how to manage money now and for the rest of their lives.
the Savannah branch of the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library will be hosting a program to help teens from 13 to 19 year old deal with taxes, first jobs, smart shopping, setting up IRA's and creating budgets. The course will include other activities like setting financial goals, exploring investment opportunities and examining the influences of advertising on the use of their money. Savannah branch Library assistant Connie Rehm says the goal of the program is to provide them tips they can use right away. The program is on Mondays at Four starting on November 1st and running through December 6th. And it will be in the Savannah branch of the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library.
