Meadville Water Grant

MEADVILL, MO (2010-10-29) The town of Meadville lands more than a quarter million dollars for water improvements.

A Department of Natural Resources grant of more than $323,000 will help pay for new fire hydrants, water mains, and the water plant in the Linn County town. M and M Construction in Chillicothe won the bid for the project, which is estimated to cost more than 1.1 million dollars to improve the infrastructure some of which is 50 years old.
