MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-04) The city of Maryville wants help in planning, and a meeting this morning will explain it.
City officials are preparing a long range comprehensive plan to create a framework for future public policy. A special focus is on future land use. The city says the plan will help direct not just development, but also infrastructure needs and expansion. Maryville is calling for contractors and firms with those specialties to present proposals to help in the planning process. This morning at City Hall an informational meeting is being held to give more information to firms on what the city is looking for. That will be at 10:30. The deadline to submit the proposals to the Maryville City Hall is Friday, October 15th.
