Missouri Higher Education

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-05) Amid tough budget times, Missouri continues working on a plan to fund higher education as well as create more missourians with degrees.

The state's interim commissioner of higher education Dr. David Russell says the numbers of missourians between 25 and 34 years old with college degrees stands at 34% a statistic he says has to be raised. Russell says a report on solutions to getting more funding to the state's colleges and universities is due to the governor in mid February.
