MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-20) Educators and parents will hear an interesting take on teaching our boys tonight during the Fall Ploghoft Lecture Series.

Author Peg Tyre comes to Maryville following the release of her book, "The Trouble With Boys: A Surprising Report Card On Our Sons". Dr. Joyce Piverall is the interim dean of the college that's bringing Tyre in for tonight's presentation and says the theories align with what educators in our region are noticing. Tonight's public lecture on education males is in the Marylinn Auditorium on the Northwest Missouri State Campus in Maryville. It starts at 8 O'clock.
