MARYVILLE, MO (2010-10-28) The two finalists for Nodaway County's Clerk of the circuit court seat in next Tuesday's election both are Nodaway County natives and both have court experience.
Kim Carmichael has served in the position since 2006 and has since won two state awards for time standard efficiencies in the Clerk's Office. He says he tries to save money for the county when he can. Challenger Elaine Wilson is the current president of the Maryville School Board and says her broad experiences as township collector, business manager, and court reporter positions her well for the Clerk's seat. Polls in Missouri will be open on Tuesday from 6 in the morning until 7 in the evening.
