CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-10-21) Chillicothe leaders are still celebrating this week's awards from the State Community Betterment Awards but they are not letting any grass grow under their feet.

Chillicothe took first place in their population size for successful projects like the Silver Moon Plaza, the Litton Agriculture Center, and Livingston County Library renovations. But chamber director Lyndy Chapman says the award means even harder work. Chillicothe also took first place in the youth group of the year award for partnering with the high school's leadership class and the FFA.
