Brookfield Water Rates

BROOKFIELD, MO (2010-10-13) Brookfield residents will be paying a bit more on their water bills.

The council has approved the rate increase based on the future need to build a new waste water treatment plant that project will cost around 6 milion dollars. The new Rates are 10% higher for water service and a dollar per every thousand gallons for sewer service in Brookfield. They will be used to pay off bonds used to finance the treatment plant upgrades.
