ALBANY, MO (2010-10-21) Albany's new title as "Community of The Year" by the statewide community betterment award will be used to promote the town.

That's according to Albany Chamber president Connie Worden. She says the traveling trophy they have gotten for winning the community of the year will be leveraged to tell people about the town. Nearly 40 communities of various sizes participated in this year's competition.
