TRENTON, MO (2009-10-12) A hundred thousand dollars are on their way to Trenton to realize it's dream of a new downtown.

The State's Dream Program- or "Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri"- funnels money and consulting services to select towns- Trenton is one of them this year. State officials say many downtown buildings in Trenton are vacant, and the majority need facade improvements like tuck-pointing, painting, and other work. The hundred thousand dollar grant comes from State Community Development Block Grant Funds.
