ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2009-10-19) The St. Joseph City Council meets tonight.
On the agenda is the appointment of two residents to fill two seats vacated by the resignation of Jeff Penland. Members plan on confirming Jerome Goolsby to serve on the planning commission until 2012 and vincent lewis to serve as a member of the downtown review board until March of 2012. St. Joseph City Council Members are also expected to submit two grants to work with the Department of Conservation to build a board dock on the Missouri River for about $170,000 and to amend ordinances involving parking time limits. The St. Joseph City Council Meeting starts tonight at 7.
