NEBERASKA CITY, NE (2009-10-19) The Neberaska City Council meets tonight.

The agenda includes appointing 4 residents as Riverview Nature Park Stewards. Those include Janet Palmtage, Leon Schiermeyer, Dan Swanson, and Jeff Crunk. The mayor is expected to proclaim the week of the 25th as National Red Ribbon Week and members will consider an ordinance to raise the dollar amount for accident reporting and consider advertising for bids for a heavy rescue truck. Tonight's council meeting in Nebraska City starts at 6 in City Hall.
