MARYVILLE, MO (2009-10-26) A special public hearing starts tonight in Maryville.
It's giving residents the opportunity for input on the City's proposed smoking ban. Already Maryville bans smoking in any business that takes most of their profits from food. Now that ban could expand to all businesses in the city. Maryvilel City Manager Matt LeCerf says they need public input to weigh the proposal. Tonight's public hearing starts right before the Maryville City Council meeting in city hall at 7 O'clock. A second hearing is also set for November 9th.
