Maryville City Council

Parsons

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-10-13) Maryville's City Council met last night to go over its agenda.

Two things on that agenda included the Palms bar and grill and an ordinance that would repeal a previous ordinance regarding hunting and ice fishing at Mozingo lake. The City Council voted to enact the ordinance that would do away with local permits for ice fishing and huntings. City manager Matt Lecerf said the current system was in conflict with State Laws. Safety during both activities is still very important and permits for ice fishing and hunting will be handled through the Missouri Department of Conservation. Also in discussion was the current state of the Palms bar and grill in terms of its fire code standards pertaining to its fryer.
