MARYVILLE, MO (2009-10-28) KCP&L customers have a chance to talk to their energy representatives face to face today.
The company holds an "Energy Resource Fair" in Maryville as part of its new "Connections" program. Besides Q&A, customers can get payment plan information and energy saving tips. Matt Dority is KCP&L's North District Manager and says some customers can actually get financial assistance to pay the bills. Local agencies such as community services, the salvation army, and the United Way will be there to offer support as well. This afternoon's Energy Resource Fair starts at 4 and runs through 7 this evening at the American Legion Hall in Maryville.
