SAVANNAH, MO (2009-10-16) KXCV news has confirmed two of our listening area communities Savannah and Brookfield were chosen this morning to participate in Missouri's "Dream" program.

That stands for "Downtown Revitalization Economic Assistance for Missouri". The State Program helps partner with local cities to develop a strategy for their downtown districts and implement long-term planning. Both Savannah and Brookfield will be eligible to receive assistance through the State to professional engineering firms and will undergo a series of community forums to determine how to strengthen their downtown areas.
