Clean Energy

Wayman

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2009-10-15) Northwest Missouri gets an alternative energy boost from a team of traveling veterans.

The cross-country bus tour started in Jefferson City and ended up in St. Joseph yesterday. It's a group of military veterans that are promoting clean energy like wind power found in our region. Matt Victoriano served in the marines in Iraq. He says projects like those in Northwest Missouri are the answer to being breaking dependence on foreign oil, which he says threatens national security. The tour also made stops in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield.
