CAMERON, MO (2009-10-12) A $140,000 in State Tax Credits have been approved for Cameron's Green Hills Community Action Agency.
The non-profit is raising money for a 4,000 square foot building for the Cameron's women shelter. Resident of both Clinton and DeKalb Counties will use the shelter for domestic violence services. About 160 victims per year are expected. The Tax Credits will help organizers raise funds for the facility, with donors getting a tax break on the money or in-kind services they provide.
