MARYVILLE, MO (2009-10-14) It's a birthday celebration 90 years in the making, but tomorrow the American Legion post 1 hundred of Maryville is recognizing their members.

The evening's program kicks off with a cake and ice cream social, and includes a Mayoral Proclamation, a resolution by representative Mike Thomson, Roll call and response by the firing squad members. Chaplain Bob Bohlken says the highlight is recognizing the individual members for decades of service. The American Legion post 1 hundred of Maryville 90th anniversary celebration will be at the Legion Hall on East 5th street starting at 7 O'clock tomorrow night.
