Albany Flu

Wayman

ALBANY, MO (2009-10-22) It's finally happened: one of our school districts is shutting down because of suspected H1N1 Flu cases.

Albany superintendent Brian Pruitt says all classes and school activities in Albany are cancelled for both today and tomorrow. The lone exception is the football team and only the team traveling for an away game tomorrow night. Pruitt says absentee rates of 20% in Albany didn't get any better over last weekend, so they're giving everyone a break. Again no classes, daycare, or activities today and tomorrow in the Albany school district. Classes should be back in session on Monday.
