MARYVILLE, MO (2008-10-14) Nearly 9 million dollars. That's the amount that's now coming to Missouri residents effected by flooding this summer.
Much of northern Missouri was also impacted by the storms, which continued from June first through August 13th.
Sharing in the $8.9 million dollars from FEMA are residents in Andrew, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Linn, Livingston, and Nodaway counties.
This includes money for temporary housing, home repairs, disaster-related transportation and moving expenses, and even medical expenses.
