DWI Checkpoint Scheduled

MARYVILLE, MO (2008-11-13) It's not a get out of jail free card, but the highway patrol is tipping us off on a checkpoint its planning.

The St. Joseph-based headquarters says sometime next month, it's setting up an operation in Buchanan County to look for drunk drivers.

Officials there say the sobriety checkpoint will keep impaired drivers from endangering themselves and innocent motorists.
