MARYVILLE, MO (2012-11-16)
The Maryville Department of Public Safety- Fire Division is looking to the community for help.
They are currently in need of 3 to 4 volunteer firefighters. No experience is required but Fire Captain Phil Rickabaugh says it is always a positive to have someone with experience. The volunteers will go through a 36 hour training course along with meeting twice each month. Rickabaugh says volunteers can make a difference in the city of Maryville if they are willing to answer the call.
Rickabaugh says applications to become a volunteer firefighter are available at Maryville City Hall or www.Maryville.org. Applications can be turned into the Fire Station at 222 East 3rd or at Maryville City Hall.© Copyright, KXCV
