MARYVILLE, MO (2012-11-08)
One of Maryville's most popular landmarks will return to form at the start of next year.
The Maryville Pub, which has been a part of downtown for over 100 years, plans to re-open its doors by the middle of January. The roof and side of the building collapsed in September of last year. The Pub's owner, Jeff Zeller, says they decided to keep the Pub in it's original location because the front facade was still in good shape, and to keep the tradition alive in Maryville.
Zeller says the Pub will provide a different look for the Maryville nightlife. The recovery process has included demolishing and re-conditioning parts of the old building, and remodeling the inside will start soon.© Copyright, KXCV
