CLARINDA, IA (2012-11-16)
The Clarinda Regional Health Center Emergency Medical Services department is celebrating the 20th year of a popular holiday program they offer to bedfast residents in their service area.
The program is called "Home for the Holidays" where E-M-S crews will transport bedfast residents of a care facility to and from a family gathering, free of charge. Spokesperson Jason Bridie says the program is one of the more popular services the E-M-S department offers each year.
Bridie says families wishing to utilize the service are asked to call the Clarinda Regional Health Center's E-M-S department 48 hours in advance of their gathering...with transportation limited to approximately 20 miles from Clarinda. The "Home for the Holidays" program is offered from November 21st through December 30th.© Copyright, KXCV
