The Faculty Alumni Big Band from the University of Central Missouri will be performing at the Chillicothe Area Arts Council.

The Big Band will perform hits from Big Band greats like Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Count Basie, the Dorsey Brothers, and other music from the World War Two era. Spokesperson for the Chillicothe Area Arts Council, Julie Ashbrook, says Director of Music at Central Missouri, Jim Guy, has played in Chillicothe in the past and volunteered for his group to play there again this year.

Ashbrook says the concert takes place at 3 p-m on Sunday with seating at 2:30.
