Bearcat men's basketball team opened up the regular season

The Northwest men's basketball team opened up the regular season with an 86-65 non-conference victory over Graceland University Sunday afternoon.

Alex Sullivan led the Bearcats with a career-high 28 points...knocking down 7 three-pointers. Four Bearcats scored in double-figures as the Northwest shot 61 percent from the field as a team. Up next for the Bearcat men is the Hillyard Classic hosted by Missouri Western on Friday and Saturday in St. Joseph. Northwest plays Rockhurst Friday at 5:30. We'll have the broadcast beginning at 5:10 with our pregame.
