ALLISON
NEBRASKA CITY, NE. (2011-11-30)
A historic Nebraska City building will soon be restored to its former glory.
Community member Jim Kuhn has been hard at work for the last few months painting and restoring the old stone building on the corner of Central Avenue and Steinhart Park Road. The building has been used for girl scout meetings, parks and recreation, and a golf shack. Promotions and development coordinator for the Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce Rose Ralstin says the restoration is important to the community.
Ralstin says the building will be used for city festival information, small gatherings and wedding pictures. There will be an open house for businesses and residents to see the completed work and help choose a name for the building. The open house will be Thursday evening at five at the Old Ston Building.© Copyright, KXCV
