New high school graduation rates are out for school district in Missouri.
This year state officials are only counting students who graduate in 4 years. Assistant commissioner of data system management Leigh Ann Eagle says the change is based on US Department of Education requirements.
Among districts in our region with percentages of students below a hundred percent graduation in 4 years are Albany with 74%, Brookfield at 79%, Chillicothe R-2 with 83%, Gallatin at 90%, Milan with 83% graduating within 4 years, Maryville with 93%, Nodaway-Holt at 88%, North Andrew with 78%, North Nodaway at 87%, Northeast Nodaway at 85, Savannah at 76%, South Harrison at 70%, South Nodaway at 86%, and Union Star at 88%.© Copyright, KXCV
